What is the Easiest Way to Find a Fire Stone in SoulSilver?

"Pokemon: SoulSilver Edition" for the Nintendo DS tasks you with exploring the Johto region to prove your skills as a Pokemon trainer. Along your quest you encounter some rare items that help you improve your team. One such item is the Fire Stone, which helps certain Pokemon characters, like Eevee and Vulpix, evolve into stronger Pokemon. The Fire Stone is most easily obtained at the Pokeathlon Dome.

     Go to the Pokeathlon Dome and compete in events to earn Pokeathlon points.

     Head to the Pokeathlon shop inside the dome. Here you can buy rare items with the points you have earned by participating in the events.

     Purchase the Fire Stone from this shop for 2,500 Pokeathlon points on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, on the in-game calendar.
