How to Get to Snowpoint City

In "Pokemon Platinum," your goal is to defeat eight gym leaders for their badges. Each gym leader resides in a different city. For example, Candice is the leader of the Snowpoint City gym and the 7th gym leader you must fight. However, to fight Candice you must first get to Snowpoint City. Unlike past "Pokemon" games, where you followed a linear path from gym to gym, "Pokemon Platinum" requires some backtracking to get on the path to Snowpoint City.

     Travel to Celestic Town, located west of Route 210 and east of Route 211.

     Exit Celestic Town through the west exit to travel to Route 211.

     Walk north when you reach the intersection on Route 211.

     Travel north through Mt. Coronet. After leaving Mt. Coronet, you appear on Route 216.

     Navigate west on Route 216 until you reach Route 217.

   • 6

     Travel north on Route 217 until you reach Lake Acuity.

     Travel east from Lake Acuity until you reach Snowpoint City.
