The Veridian Forest is an area in both "Pokemon HeartGold" and "SoulSilver" containing a multitude of bug and nature type Pokemon. The area also contains five different trainers to battle with, each using bug type Pokemon. The trainers in this area use pokemon ranging from Level 28 to 60, though the wild Pokemon are all under Level Ten. Veridian Forest is located in the Kanto region, which means players must progress through the Johto region before it is available.

Enter the Kanto region by traveling east of New Bark Town.

Follow the road until you come to Victory Road, then go east.

Enter Veridian City, then take the north exit toward Pewter City that leads to Route 2. Follow the road to Veridian Forest.
