How to Make an Engagement Ring on Rune Factory 3

Play the game as usual, until you have completed the Privera Forest area. This is part of the story and cannot be skipped. Then add a workshop to your house, which is needed to craft items.

Buy the "recipe bread" items sold at the restaurant, to learn how to create new items. You can also buy this special bread from Yue, encountered on the second floor of the inn.

Craft items in your workshop using the ingredients specified in the recipes. When you first craft an item, your chances of success are low. But the more you do it, the better your character becomes at it.

Continue playing the game, until you have completed the quest to unite the two tribes. Once the quest is completed, you will get the recipe for creating your engagement ring. The ingredients are two "Silver" items and one "Ruby."

Use your character̵7;s mining abilities to get the silver and rubies from rocks found in dungeons. Smash these to have a random chance of receiving silver. The mining and monster information displayed at the start of a dungeon indicate whether you will find silver. Search the desert area dungeons, or kill the "Slime" enemies found near Bone Bridge, to receive rubies.

Stand in front of the crafting area in your workshop. Press the "A" button, to open a list of all available recipes you know -- along with the ingredients and chance of success.

Using the stylus, drag the silver and ruby from your backpack on the left side of the screen to the forging area in the bottom-right. Tap "OK" to start the crafting process. If you have been practicing your item-making skills, you'll end up with the ring. Otherwise, keep making other things until your chances to successfully craft the ring are higher.
