How to Get the Guy Out of the Path to Go to Sunyshore City in Pokemon Diamond

Sunyshore City is home to Volkner, the eight and final gym leader you must defeat in "Pokemon Diamond." Initially, a man near Lake Valor prevents you from traveling east to Sunyshore City because of the power outage affecting the city. He continues blocking the path until you put an end to Team Galactic's evil scheme and battle the legendary pokemon, Dialga.

  Defeat Cyrus and Saturn in Team Galactic's hideout on the west side of Veilstone City. Saturn tells you to push the button in the back of the room you battle him in. Push the button to release Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit back into the wild.

  Fly to Oreburgh City, travel north on Route 207 and then enter Mt. Coronet.

  Climb Mt. Coronet until you reach the Spear Pillar where you encounter Team Galactic's leaders. Defeat Mars and Jupiter in a double battle with your rival, then defeat Cyrus to make him flee the scene.

  Walk up to Dialga, initiate a battle and then capture or defeat the pokemon.
- 5
  Travel back to Lake Valor. The man previously blocking the path to Sunyshore City is no longer standing in your way.
