How Do You Beat the Swiggler Boss in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time?

In the Nintendo DS RPG, "Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time," the titular characters must win a number of boss battles in which teamwork is the key to survival. In the Vim Factory stage, the heroes must face off against the evil, centipede-like Swiggler, so named for perpetually drinking liquid through his straw. Here, you must also battle two Dr. Shroob enemies.

Instructions

- 1
  Jump on a Dr. Shroob while it's holding a dark mushroom. This will cause the mushroom to fall into Swiggler's drink and weaken him.
- 2
  Attack Swiggler with green shells while he is weakened by the dark mushroom drink. Doing so will cause him to slam his body into the ground, sending out shock waves.
- 3
  Jump over the shock waves as they pass you.
- 4
  Keep jumping on the Dr. Shroobs while they're holding dark mushrooms, and keep attacking Swiggler with green shells until you defeat him. You will then be rewarded with the Cobalt Star Shard.
