How Do You Get Latias and Latios to Show Up in the Game Pokemon: Soul Silver?

Latias and Latios are Dragon/Psychic-type Pokemon featured in "Pokemon Heart Gold" and "Pokemon Soul Silver." The only real difference between the two Pokemon is their coloring, as well as availability. Latios only appears in "Soul Silver," and Latias only appears in "Heart Gold." Latios is the male version of the species and Latias is the female. Both legendary Pokemon show up in their respective versions once you trigger a certain event.

Instructions

  Travel to Saffron City and find the Copycat. The Copycat is located in one of the houses and will be dressed exactly like you. She asks you to find the Poke Doll she lost in Vermillion City.

  Travel to Vermillion City and enter the Pokemon Fan Club building.

  Speak to the person nearest to the door. She gives you the Poke Doll. When you exit the building, Steven runs up to you to tell you that Latios has been spotted in Kanto.

  Open your map. Latios' location is marked on your map. Travel to the route nearest the legendary Pokemon.

  Approach the Pokemon to engage it in battle. Legendary Pokemon are extremely difficult to catch, so stock up on powerful Pokeballs before you begin.
