How to Get the Wind Djinn in Carvers Camp in Golden Sun

"Golden Sun: Dark Dawn" was released for the Nintendo DS in 2010. The third game in the "Golden Sun" series, characters draw upon the magic of spirits known as Djinn to perform supernatural feats. Such feats include summoning a fireball or a burst of wind. Gust, a wind Djinn, allows players to cast wind spells in addition to increasing the attack power of the character who uses it. Gust is available early in the game at Goma Highlands, accessible only by a special entrance from Carver's Camp.

Instructions

    • 1

      Walk around the house in the northwest section of Carver's Camp counter-clockwise until you are on the left side of the house, facing a pillar of dirt directly below your character.

      Cast the "Move" spell twice to move the pillar of dirt directly below you. Jump down onto the pillar of dirt and jump down onto the path located to your character's left.

      Follow the path left until you reach the Goma Highlands.

      Cast "Fireball" on the gondola directly in front of you. The gondola turns on and stops in front of your character.

      Enter the gondola and cast "Fireball" again. The gondola crosses the chasm, taking you to the other side of Goma Highlands.

      Exit the gondola and follow the path. The path is linear, starting north and winding to the east, eventually ending at the wind Djinn, Gust.

      Press "A" next to Gust to battle him.

      Use your strongest spells and attacks, healing your characters as they receive damage. Gust is defeated after your characters damage him for over 160 points of damage cumulatively. Once defeated, Gust joins your party and is able to be used.
