How to Get Plusle in Pokemon SoulSilver

Plusle is known as the Cheering Pokemon because it has a number of abilities that assist the other Pokemon on your team. However, Plusle is a Pokemon from the Hoenn region and "Pokemon SoulSilver" takes place in the Kanto and Johto regions of the Pokemon world. To attract a Plusle in Kanto or Johto, you need to play music from its home region of Hoenn by tuning in to the "Hoenn Sound" radio program using your PokeGear.

Instructions

  Travel to a region where Plusle can be encounter. You can find Plusle in Routes 1 through 8, 11, 14 through 29, 33, 36 through 39, 46 and 48. Plusle is also found in National Park.

  Open your PokeGear menu and tune to the Pokemon March radio station. On Wednesdays, the Pokemon March radio station plays the "Hoenn Sound" radio program. If it is not currently Wednesday, temporarily set the clock on your Nintendo DS system forward or backward from the configuration menu.

  Walk around in one of the regions where Plusle is located with the "Hoenn Sound" radio program playing to attract one. Plusle has a 20 percent encounter rate, so you may encounter another Pokemon before Plusle. If this is the case, you must tune into "Hoenn Sound" again and walk around until you encounter Plusle.

  Attack Plusle using moderate damage attacks to weaken it. Avoid using too powerful of an attack so that you do not accidentally knock out Plusle. Most wild Plusle are under level 20 and can be easily damaged.

  Throw a PokeBall after inflicting damage on Plusle to attempt a capture. If Plusle escapes the ball, attack it again, then throw another ball. Repeat this strategy until you have successfully captured Plusle.
