How to Get Celebi in Pokemon White

The time-traveling Pokemon Celebi does not appear in the wild in any of the "Pokemon" games, but players can acquire it in "White" through a permanent transfer from "Diamond," "Platinum," "Pearl," "HeartGold" or "SoulSilver." Players must trade for Celebi or attend a Celebi "Pokemon" event to acquire Celebi in those five games. When players transfer Celebi to "White," players gain the ability to acquire the Pokemon Zorua. Players can transfer Celebi to "White" through the PokeTransfer or the Relocator.

Instructions

PokeTransfer Method to trade Celebi

  Defeat N, the leader of Team Plasma, and Ghetsis, one of the Seven Sages of Team Plasma. Find your Pokedex upgraded to the National Dex the first time you leave your house when Professor Juniper hears of your victory. Players need the National Dex to use PokeTransfer.

  Enlist a friend's assistance. Insert "White" into your Nintendo DS and place another Nintendo DS game that contains Celebi into a second Nintendo DS system. Turn on both systems. In "White," travel along Route 115 until you encounter an orange and blue-colored, multilevel building. Enter the PokeTransfer Lab to receive an explanation of how the transfer process works.

  Turn on the friend's Nintendo DS. Ask the friend to remove all hold items from Celebi. In "White," connect to the PokeTransfer system using the explanation given when you first entered the PokeTransfer Lab. A "DS Download Play" application will appear for both players. Select "Celebi" to transfer to "White."
Trade through Relocator

  Enter Castelia City in the Unova region in "White" and move north as though going to Route 4. In the last screen of Castelia City, before players depart for Route 4, enter the last building on the left. Enter the elevator in this building and select "11F." Talk to the scientist in the bottom-right corner of the room.

  Tell the scientist the words "Everyone" and "Happy." Talk to her again and tell her "Simple" and "Connection." Save the game and turn off the system.

  Enlist a friend's assistance. Insert a copy of "Diamond," "Pearl," "Platinum," "HeartGold" or "SoulSilver" that contains Celebi into a second Nintendo DS. Turn on the system. In "White," select "Relocator" from the main menu. Select "Yes" to launch DS Wireless Communications. Follow all on-screen instructions.

  Select "Celebi" on your friend's Nintendo DS to transfer it to your copy of "White." Keep Celebi in your party in "White" along with any Pokeball in your bag. Travel to Castelia City's Game Freak Building. Talk to the Game Freak to acquire Zorua.
