How to Do the Aerodactyl Puzzle on SoulSilver

The Ruins of Alph are an optional side quest in "Pokemon SoulSilver" in which you must solve four puzzles in order to advance. The Aerodactyl puzzle is the second puzzle located south of the entrance. In this puzzle you must piece together a puzzle of an Aerodactyl that is looking to the left. Once you have completed the puzzle, you are allowed to advance to the third puzzle.

Instructions

- 1
  Enter the second cave by Surfing over the lake blocking the entrance. Immediately examine the puzzle to zoom in on it.

  Move the 16 tiles around until you create a picture of an Aerodactyl facing left.

  Take the four pieces that make up its head and place them in the upper left corner.
- 4
  Place the four wing pieces in the upper right section of the puzzle. The tile that has the tips of the wings goes in the top right spot of that corner.

  Take the four pieces that make up the thickest section of the tail and put them in the bottom right portion of the puzzle.
- 6
  Place the thinner portion of the tail in the bottom left section of the puzzle.
