How Do You Get the Sixth Badge in the Pokémon SoulSilver Game?

To become a Pokemon Master in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you must collect all 16 badges from the Pokemon Gyms in both the Johto and Kanto regions. The sixth badge in "Pokemon SoulSilver" is found in the Olivine City Gym, which specializes in Steel Type Pokemon. However, when you first reach Olivine City, the Gym Leader Jasmine is too distracted by a sick Pokemon to battle you. By helping Jasmine care for the sick Ampharos, you will have your chance to win your sixth Pokemon badge.

Instructions

  Travel to Olivine City after obtaining the fifth badge in Cianwood City. Walk to the lighthouse on the east side of town and talk to Jasmine on the top floor. She will ask you to obtain medicine for the sick Ampharos.

  Fly or walk back to Cianwood City and talk to the man behind the counter at the pharmacy to receive the Secret Potion.

  Return to the lighthouse in Olivine City and give the Secret Potion to Jasmine. She will cure the sick Ampharos and return to the Olivine City Gym.

  Enter the Olivine City Gym and talk to Jasmine to begin your battle for the sixth badge. Unlike other Pokemon Gyms, there are no other trainers to battle here.

  Defeat Jasmine's Pokemon to receive the Olivine City Gym badge. Jasmine uses two level-30 Magnemites and a level-35 Steelix. Prepare for the battle by bringing your highest level Ground Type, Fighting Type and Fire Type Pokemon as Jasmine's Pokemon will be weak to these types of attacks. Defeat all three to receive your badge.
