How Do You Get a Dusk Stone in the Game Pokemon SoulSilver?

Pokeathlon Dome

  Play the game as normal until you defeat Whitney, the leader of Goldenrod City's gym in the Johto region.

  Travel to the Pokeathlon Dome by following Route 35 in the direction of the National Park; the dome is connected to the park. As soon as you enter the dome you are intercepted by a man who gives you a tour of the dome and explains how everything works.

  Approach the counter at the back of the dome to trigger a new cutscene where your character receives a jersey. Stand in front of the counter and press the "A" button, then select which course you want to play on.

  Complete the events to earn points. After you have 3,000 points, speak to the person behind the prize counter on the right hand side of the dome with only one person behind it. The Dusk Stone is only available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

  Highlight "Dusk Stone" and press "A" to exchange your points for it.

Bug Catching Contest

  Play the game normally until acquiring the National Dex. Travel to the National Park situated near Goldenrod City and take part in the Bug Catching Contest. This event is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

  Select a Pokemon who knows moves such as False Swipe, Sleep or Paralyze. The goal is to catch a rare bug-type Pokemon to win the contest. You have 20 minutes and 20 Sport Balls, but can end the competition as soon as you think you have a winner.

  Capture a Pokemon such as Butterfree or Scyther with as much health as possible. The more health they have when you capture them, the more points you receive. Use moves such as Sleep or Paralyze and throw the Sports Balls at them for an easy catch. After getting first place in the contest, you have a random chance of winning a Dusk Stone.

Cerulean Cave

  Play the game until you defeat all eight of the gym leaders in the Kanto region; you won't be able to enter the Cerulean Cave until doing this.

  Travel to Route 24 near Cerulean City and look for the entrance to the cave. The man who previously blocked your entrance now lets you enter the cave.

  Make your way to the basement floor of the cave where you find a lot of item balls. Go down the path to the right of where you enter the basement; the Dusk Stone is on the far right side of the basement.
