How to Fix the Kanto Power Plant in Pokémon Silver

"Pokemon: Silver" (which was remade in 2009 as "Pokemon: SoulSilver") is a part of the "Pokemon" role-playing video-game series, which includes a number of games across Nintendo. Players take control of the main character and direct his quest to capture and train the different types of Pokemon located in the world. In order to complete this objective, players will have to fix the Kanto Power Plant in order to reach the gyms in that city.

Instructions

  Begin a new game. Create your character and begin his quest to collect Pokemon around the Johto region.

  Travel to Ceruleun City; the Kanto Power Plant is located there. When you arrive, it will not be online. You will not be able to visit the Ceruleun gym until after you fix the power plant.

  Walk to the Ceruleun gym. After you enter, a member of Team Rocket will run out of the back door. You can't find him immediately, but he is still located within the city limits of Ceruleun.

  Walk to the golden bridge in the northern part of town. You will see a couple standing at one end of the bridge; approach them and the member of Team Rocket who ran out of the gym will appear. Speak to the Team Rocket member to initiate a duel.

  Use your strongest Pokemon to defeat the Team Rocket member; he does not have powerful Pokemon that will cause you problems at this point in the game. Keep your Pokemon healed during the battle and you should be able to win easily.

  Pick up the item that is dropped when the member of Team Rocket runs after you defeat him; it is the missing piece of the Power Plant. Return to the Kanto Power Plant and speak to the manager to give him the missing item. He will install it in the system and the plant will get up and running.
