How to Get the Giant's Wallet in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

"The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D," released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2011, is a port of the original "Ocarina of Time" for the Nintendo 64. Other than the addition of 3D, the game remains unchanged, such as the location of items like the Giant's Wallet. This wallet allows your character to hold 500 rupees at a time. This item can only be obtained by defeating Gold Skulltulas, hidden enemies that are located in every corner of Hyrule.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate a Golden Skulltula. While hidden, these small spiders can be found by listening for the scratching sound they make and the bright gold color of their skeletal shell. They can be found in multiple locations, such as Kokiri Forest, Hyrule Field and Gerudo Valley.

    • 2

Defeat the Golden Skulltula with any of your available weapons. It takes only one or two hits, depending on your weapon, to defeat one.

    • 3

Stand on top of the Golden Skulltula token that is dropped when it is defeated. The token is automatically added to your inventory. You receive one token per Golden Skulltula. You must acquire 30 tokens to receive the Giant's Wallet.

    • 4

Travel to Kakariko Village, located in Hyrule field to the east of Hyrule Castle and south of Death Mountain.

    • 5

Enter the first house to your immediate right as soon as you enter the village. This is the Skulltula House, whose residents have been turned into Skulltulas by a curse. For every 10 Golden Skulltulas tokens you receive, the curse is removed from one of the children who then rewards you.

    • 6

Speak to the child at the back of the house. As a reward for removing the curse and collecting 30 Golden Skulltula tokens, you are awarded the Giant's Wallet. It automatically replaces your old wallet and you can now collect up to 500 rupees.
