How Do You Catch the Second Farfetch'd in the Game Pokemon SoulSilver?

Farfetch'd is a Normal/Flying-type Pokemon in the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon SoulSilver." In the Ilex Forest area to the east of Azalea Town in the south of the Johto region, you will meet a man who has lost two Farfetch'd and you are tasked with tracking them down. The Farfetch'd run away when they see you approaching, but you can distract them into looking in a certain direction by standing on twigs to make a noise, then sneak around behind them to catch them. This guide applies only to the second of the two Farfetch'd.

Instructions

- 1
  Head east from the man who has lost his Pokemon to find the second Farfetch'd. Approach it from the south and it will run away north.

  Chase the Farfetch'd into the top, right corner of the forest.

  Step on the patch of twigs to the right of the Farfetch'd and it will turn to look in your direction.

  Walk north around the Farfetch'd, avoiding the patch of twigs above it so that it doesn't turn around again.

  Follow the path down behind the Farfetch'd so that you come up behind it. It should still be facing toward the twigs to stood on to its right.
- 6
  Press "A" when adjacent to the Farfetch'd to catch it and return it to the man to receive a Hidden Machine, HM01 Cut.
