How to Make a New Profile on Nintendogs

"Nintendogs" is a pet simulation video game for the Nintendo DS that lets players raise and breed a variety of dogs, such as dalmatians and beagles. Players give verbal commands to their pets by talking to the DS console screen, and they can use the touch pen to play catch. Only one pet can be saved on the player's game profile at a time. You must remove the profile to create a new pet in "Nintendogs."

Instructions

  Turn on the Nintendo DS game console with your "Nintendogs" game cartridge inserted.

  Hold down the "X," "Y," "A," "B," "L" and "R" buttons as soon as the console screen begins to flicker. You must hold all the buttons down before the game begins to load to access your profile and saved data.

  Select your gamer profile once the system screen loads. Press the "A" button and choose the "Delete" option to remove the "Nintendogs" profile.

  Restart the Nintendo DS console and start a new game of "Nintendogs." Follow the onscreen prompts to create a new profile and start breeding a new dog.
