How to Get the Sparkling Apricorn in Pokemon: SoulSilver

"Pokemon: SoulSilver" players can either purchase Poke Balls to catch Pokemon or they can find the rare fruits known as Apricorns and have them made into special Poke Balls. Apricorn trees can only be picked once a day, but after a tree's Apricorn has been picked, it grows a new sparkling Apricorn when the game's clock reaches midnight. Unlike other elements of the Pokemon game, this occurs every time you pick an Apricorn and wait by its tree until the specified time. To pick a sparkling Apricorn, your character needs to be in the right place at the right time.

     Approach an Apricorn tree and press the "A" button to pick its fruit.

     Wait by the Apricorn tree until the in-game clock reaches midnight. Because the game's clock is based on your DS system's clock, you can save and exit your game, then adjust your system's clock to be closer to midnight. Launch "Pokemon: SoulSilver," load the game you just saved and navigate back to Apricorn tree you are waiting to produce the sparkling Apricorn.
