How to Make the Department Elevator Work in Pokemon SoulSilver

The Silph Corporation is a large corporation in the Nintendo DS video game, "Pokemon SoulSilver" that produces many of the gadgets used in the game. The elevator in the Silph Co. Headquarters in Saffron City does not normally work, but you can get it to move by using the Pokemon Rotom. Rotom cannot be found in the wild in "Pokemon SoulSilver" however, so you will have to trade it across from "Pokemon Diamond" or "Pearl."

"Pokemon SoulSilver"

Instructions

  Go to the Old Chateau in the Eterna Forest in the east of Sinnoh in "Pokemon Diamond" or "Pearl."

  Go up to the TV in the Chateau between 10pm and 4am and press the "A" button. A Level 15 Rotom will attack you.

  Use Ground, Ghost or Dark-type moves to wear down the Rotom's health points and catch it using a Pokeball.

  Go to the Wi-Fi Club at any Pokemon Center, and do the same in "Pokemon SoulSilver" on the second Nintendo DS.

  Trade Rotom across to "Pokemon SoulSilver," and assign it as the lead Pokemon in your part.

  Head to Saffron City in the east of the Kanto region and go into the Silph Co. HQ, the large building in the middle of town.

  Enter to the elevator with Rotom as the lead Pokemon in your party and the lift will take you to another floor, where you can change Rotom's form to Water, Grass, Fire, Ice or Flying-type.
