How to Play the Flute in Spirit Tracks

"The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks" features an item known as the Spirit Flute. Throughout the course of the game, players learn new songs that unlock new secrets when played on the instrument. To play the flute, you must use a combination of the system's microphone and touch screen to select and play the flute's various notes.

     Tap the "Menu" icon on the Nintendo DS's touch screen to open the in-game menu.

     Tap the "Spirit Flute" icon to bring up the flute playing interface.

     Use the Nintendo Ds's touchscreen to drag the flute from left to right and select the note you want to play.

     Blow into the Nintendo DS's microphone to produce the selected note.
