How to Level Up Fast in Pokemon Heart Gold

Throughout your journey in "Pokemon HeartGold" you encounter wild Pokemon with many different levels. As you use the Pokemon you have acquired in battle, they gain experience and advance to higher levels that cause some Pokemon to evolve into different species. To succeed in competitive Pokemon battling you need to level up the Pokemon in your party to improve their stats and teach them advanced techniques.

  Feed your Pokemon Rare Candy. Each Rare Candy you give your Pokemon increases its level by 1. Purchase Rare Candy for 48 Battle Points in the Battle Frontier.

  Equip your Pokemon with a Lucky Egg and then battle other trainers and wild Pokemon in the game. A Lucky Egg multiplies any experience your Pokemon gains by 1.5. Lucky Eggs are sometimes held by wild Chanseys and Blisseys.

  Place your Pokemon in the Pokemon Day Care on Route 34 and then ride your bicycle or walk around the game world. For each step you travel, your Pokemon gains one experience point.
