How to Get Wismer in SoulSilver

Whismur is a Normal-type Pokemon that escapes dangerous situations by emitting a loud cry. Whismur was first introduced in "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire," two entries in the third generation of Pokemon games. While you cannot catch a Whismur in "Pokemon Silver," you can find and catch Whismur in "Pokemon SoulSilver," the enhanced remake for the Nintendo DS, by playing a special station on your radio.

Instructions

  Defeat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion, and then obtain the National Pokedex from Professor Oak outside the S.S. Aqua.

  Load up your game on a Wednesday, and then travel to Route 30.

  Tune your PokeGear Radio to the Pokemon March Channel to hear the Hoenn Sound. While the Hoenn Sound is playing, you can encounter Pokemon from Hoenn, like Whismur, that do not normally appear in Johto or Kanto.

  Walk around in the tall grass until you encounter a Whismur, and then throw a Poke Ball at the Whismur to capture it.
