Step up on to the dueling platform when invited by Professor Lockhart. Before the battle begins, your Reducto spell will be upgraded to Expeliarmus, which is more powerful though is completed with the same motion.
Attack Malfoy using your newly upgraded spell. Slide your stylus in a straight line toward Malfoy to send your spell towards him. After landing a few strikes, he'll hide behind a statue and send his two goons, Crabbe and Goyle, to fight for him.
Hit both thugs with your Expeliarmus charm to send them packing. Tap the statue with your stylus and make an arc symbol on the touch screen. This will invoke the Wingardium Leviosa spell, lifting the statue Malfoy is behind out of the way. When Malfoy pushes the statue in your direction, dodge the statue until it falls back to the stage. Hit the statue with a few spells to disintegrate it and move on. Malfoy, now uncovered, will send homing spells that will track you as you run.
Run in a wide arc around the edge of the dueling platform while the spell follows you. Run behind Malfoy, ensuring that he ends up between you and the spell so you can use his own spell against him. Repeat this procedure with each spell he sends your way. This continues until he gives up and starts hurling books at you.
Use the Expeliarmus spell to knock the flying books out of the air before they hit you. After successfully defending yourself against the books, Malfoy hides behind a statue again. Destroy the statue, blast a few more books and then destroy the final statue. Out of ideas, Draco Malfoy will finally use a charm to summon a snake.
Tap the snake with your stylus and hiss into your DS's microphone to speak Parseltongue. Professor Snape will intervene and stop the battle as he did in "The Chamber of Secrets."
