How to Find the Treasure in the Dark Ore Mine in The Legend of Zelda Spirit Track

The Dark Ore Mine, a location in the Nintendo DS adventure game "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks," contains a hidden treasure chest. Like other treasure chests in the game, it only appears when you use the Spirit Flute to play the "Song of Discovery" -- until then, it is invisible, its location indicated only by a map sent to you by the character Kagoron when you first achieve access to the Dark Ore Mine.

  Gain access to the Dark Ore Mine by using a Force Gem to recreate the vanished tracks that lead there. The necessary Force Gem is awarded by Ferrus, who after you complete the Sand Temple sends you a letter asking you to pick him up and escort him somewhere. When you fulfill his request, he gives you the Force Gem.

  Enter the Dark Ore Mine and check your mail for a letter from Kagoron, who sends you a treasure map he drew as a child. It marks the location of a treasure chest in the northeastern part of the mine.

  Go to the location indicated by the map, take out the Spirit Flute and play the Song of Discovery. The treasure chest appears and you can open it.
