How Do You Get Past the Maze at the Fourth Gym in Pokemon Ruby?

In "Pokemon Ruby," trainers come to Lavaridge Town to challenge Flannery and earn the Heat Badge. Flannery and her students train inside a steam-filled building built over hot springs. To reach Flannery and battle her team of fire Pokemon, you need to navigate the hot springs maze. When you step on the correct steam pool in a room, you move one step closer to Flannery. Step on the wrong pool, though, and you must face one of Flannery's student trainers.

Instructions

- 1
  Step in the pool on the west side of the first room to go to the second room. Only one pool is in the next room; stand on it to move to the third room.

  Stand on the northwest pool to go to the fourth room. Step on the single pool in this room to warp to the fifth room.
- 3
  Step in the western pool to move to the sixth room. Go to the northeast pool to go to the seventh room.
- 4
  Walk on the only pool in the room to warp to the eighth room. Stand on the southeast pool to move to the ninth room. Step on the lone pool to go to the last room. Talk to Flannery to battle her.
