Activating Cheats on the Action Replay
Plug your Action Replay cartridge into the Nintendo DS and plug the DS in your PC with a USB cord. Open the Action Replay software on your computer. Turn on the DS and select "Update" from the menu to add new codes to your Action Replay. When it finishes updating, disconnect the DS from the computer. Place the "Crime Scene" game cartridge into the game slot in the Action Replay cartridge. Turn on your DS and select which cheats you want to enable by checking them off with the stylus on the touch screen. Click the "Start" button to play "Crime Scene" with the cheats.
Full Diary
You can start the game with a full diary, which contains all the written clues and deductions that the main character comes up with during the game. This can help you find evidence as well.
Case Selection
This cheat allows you to choose which case you want to solve first. You can start from case one, two, three, four or five.
Shiny Evidence
With this cheat enabled, you won't have to look for the evidence very long -- it will shine in the crime scene. This cheat allows you to easily find the evidence, but you can go on to solve the cases on your own. The cheat also doesn't distinguish between good evidence and bad evidence.
All Evidence
This cheat allows you to start the game with all of the evidence already found. Don't bother sweeping the crime scene for evidence -- just look in your evidence folder and it will be there.
