How to Get Blast Burn in Platinum

In "Pokemon: Platinum Version," most of your Pokemon's moves are learned through leveling up or items called Technical Machines, but you must learn the move called Blast Burn from a specific character called the "move tutor." This man's house is on Route 228 in the Battle Zone, which is in the far north of the Sinnoh Region. The tutor will teach only Blast Burn to Infernape, Charizard, Typhlosion and Blaziken.

  Travel to the move tutor's house on Route 228. This route is filled with high-level wild Pokemon, so you can only safely access it near the end of the game.

  Speak to the move tutor with Infernape, Charizard, Typhlosion or Blaziken in your party. He will only teach Pokemon with a high happiness rating the move.

  Choose which of your eligible Pokemon should learn Blast Burn. If your Pokemon already knows four moves, you will need to choose a move to forget before learning Blast Burn.
