How to Get Zapdos in Diamond

Zapdos is a legendary Flying and Electric Pokemon that resembles a spiky yellow bird. Zapdos does not appear in the wild in "Pokemon Diamond;" to get it, you will have to trade for it with a friend who has obtained it in "Pokemon Platinum," "Pokemon HeartGold" or "Pokemon SoulSilver."

Instructions

      Find a friend who has obtained Zapdos in "Pokemon Platinum," "Pokemon HeartGold" or "Pokemon SoulSilver" and is willing to trade it to you.

      Travel to the top floor of a Pokemon Center and speak with the receptionist to enter the Union Room. Your friend must do the same.

      Approach your friend's sprite and interact with it. Select the "Trade" option from the menu to begin trading. Your friend must agree to the trade.

      Select the Pokemon you want to give to your friend in exchange for Zapdos. Your friend must do the same with Zapdos.
