Walkthrough: How to Get a Clear Ball in the Pokemon Heart Gold Version

In "Pokémon HeartGold," a mystical rainbow bird named Ho-oh flies across the sky of the Johto and Kanto regions. Rumors speak of the scared Clear Bell, an item that, when used, summons Ho-oh. The Kimono Girls in Ecruteak City keep the Clear Bell safe from harm. They will only give the Clear Bell to an opponent who has the skill to beat them in a battle. Each Kimono Girl owns a different version of Eevee. Defeat each one, and the Clear Bell is yours.

Instructions

  Walk west from Mahogany Town or northwest from Violet City to get to Ecruteak City. Go to the Pokémon Store if you need to buy healing items.

  Go inside the Dance Hall. Put your best Pokémon at the head of the team. Open the menu and save the game, if desired.

  Talk to any of the Kimono Girls to start a battle. The first Kimono Girl uses Umbreon, a dark-type Pokémon. Use a fighting-type Pokémon to knock it out.

  Battle the psychic-type, Espeon, as your next opponent. Use a dark, ghost or bug-type Pokémon to defeat Espeon. Your third opponent, the fire-type, Flareon, falls quickly when hit with a water move.

  Fight the electric-type, Jolteon, with a ground-type Pokémon. Your last opponent, the water-type, Vaporeon, is weak against electric and grass attacks. When you defeat the fifth Kimono Girl, you receive the Clear Bell.
