"Pocket Paradise" is the Nintendo DS port for the agricultural simulator "Viva Pinata." Players spend their time tending to a garden, raising living pinatas and chatting with the townsfolk. Along the way, they'll gain experience and unlock new abilities and pinatas. The Dragonache pinata is a secret pinata that the players can get once they reach Level 9, because at Level 9 the gas mask becomes available. By equipping the gas mask to a Candary, the player can send it into the mines where it will eventually retrieve the Dragonache egg.

Proceed through the game until you reach Level 9. You gain levels by successfully planting new types of seeds, attracting pinatas to your garden and getting pinatas to fall in love and make babies.

Leave your garden and go to town. Select Miss Petula's Paper Pets to enter her shop. She sells pinatas as well as accessories for them to wear. At Level 9, she starts selling gas masks.

Purchase the gas mask from her. It costs $60.
