How to Make a Dialga

While Dialga normally hides deep within the Spear Pillar, it can be made to appear in "Pokemon Diamond" after certain conditions have been met. This huge Steel- and Dragon-type Pokemon is famously known for its ability to alter and manipulate time. Only one Dialga exists in each save file of "Pokemon Diamond," making the dragons even more valuable. If you can rise above the trouble that Team Galactic causes, you will make Dialga available for capture.

Instructions

- 1
  Go into Mt. Coronet from the entrance beside Oreburgh City. Bring Pokemon that know the moves "Surf" and "Rock Climb" to travel past the natural obstacles of the mountain.

  Exit from the topmost part of the mountain's cave systems and you will arrive at the Spear Pillar. The upper levels of Mt. Coronet are accessed by using "Rock Climb" on jagged walls in the cave. Use "Surf" to cross any pools of water in your way.

  Defeat the Team Galactic thugs waiting for your arrival at the Spear Pillar. These Pokemon trainers specialize in "Poison" and "Dark" type creatures, including Stunky, Skuntank and Dustox.

  Walk north past the defeated Team Galactic members to make Dialga appear from a rift in time. Save your game before you challenge Dialga because it has the power to easily break free from Pokeballs.
