How to Catch Rotom in Pokemon

Rotom is a unique Pokemon that is capable of possessing appliances, including a microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, fan and lawn mower. Rotom can learn new moves when it possesses different appliances, and in "Pokemon Black" and "Pokemon White," Rotom's type changes to match the possessed appliance. In "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Platinum," you can find and catch a wild Rotom haunting a television in the Old Chateau.

• "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" or "Pokemon Platinum"
• National Pokedex upgrade ("Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pearl" only)
• Poke Ball

     Travel to the Old Chateau in the Eterna Forest at night.

     Walk up the stairs and into the room with a television.

   • 3

     Walk up to the television and press the "A" button to battle the wild Rotom.

   • 4

     Throw a Poke Ball at the Rotom to capture it.
