How to Tame Animals in Scribblenauts

In the Nintendo DS game "Scribblenauts," your imagination is the key to solving dozens of interactive puzzles. What you write in an onscreen dictionary appears before your eyes, and you can create almost anything, including weapons, vehicles and animals. Animals usually act on their own, and some, such as sharks and tigers, will attack if you get too close. When you tame an animal, it becomes friendly and lets you ride it. To tame a creature, you need to feed it, tranquilize it or weaken it.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the in-game dictionary. Type the name of the creature you want to tame, such as a lion, dinosaur or eagle.

    • 2

Type "Uranium" into the dictionary to make the radioactive element appear onscreen. Drop the Uranium on the creature to make it temporarily sick and weak. After several seconds, it regains its health and is tame.

    • 3

Type the name of a food to feed the animal and make it tame. Most animals like meat, such as chicken and steak. It takes three feedings to put a monster to sleep. When it awakens, it is ready to ride.

    • 4

Use a Tranquilizer Gun dart to knock out an animal. It becomes tame when it wakes up.

    • 5

Tap the tame animal and select "Ride." Tap an enemy or object to make the animal attack it.
