What Do You Do After You Talk to the Kimono Girls in Pokemon SoulSilver?

"Pokemon" veterans know that talking to the Kimono Girls in "Pokemon SoulSilver" in Ecruteak City is an essential plot point on the way to encounter Lugia. There are still several other tasks that you must accomplish before the giant Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon Lugia appears in the Whirl Islands. The good news is that you don't have to go far out of your way to complete the other objectives, as they are met during the adventure in "Pokemon SoulSilver."

Beat the Kimono Girls
- Battle and defeat all five Kimono Girls in the Ecruteak City Dance Hall. Each Kimono Girl uses a different evolutionary form of Eevee. Be prepared to fight a level 38 Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon and Umbreon.
Remove Team Rocket
- Travel to Goldenrod City, and remove Team Rocket from the Radio Tower. Climb the Radio Tower, and defeat all of the Team Rocket thugs stationed on each level to force them out of the tower. You will receive the Silver Feather item after thrashing Team Rocket. Most of the Pokemon that Team Rocket uses are Poison-type, so bring along a Steel- or Psychic-type monster to withstand the toxic assault.
Defeat Gym Leaders
- Defeat all eight of the Gym Leaders in the Johto Region of "Pokemon SoulSilver." There are Pokemon Gyms in Violet City, Azalea Town, Goldenrod City, Ecruteak City, Cianwood City, Olivine City, Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City. Each Pokemon Gym Leader specializes in a specific Pokemon type, such as the Azalea Town's leader's preference for Bug-type Pokemon.
Meet Lugia
- Go to the basement level of the Whirl Islands with the Silver Feather in your Item Bag to face off against Lugia. The entrance to the Whirl Islands is located in the middle of Route 41. Climb down to the third basement level to find Lugia. Save your game before you walk up to the massive beast, as Lugia is difficult to capture in Pokeball and may require several tries.
