How to Get Records in Nintendogs

"Nintendogs" is a video game series for the Nintendo DS that spans five iterations that each include different breeds of dogs but share the same game play mechanics. Records are a special item in "Nintendogs" that allow you, once you find them, to play different sounds and music that will affect your Nintendogs in different ways. There is only one way -- aside from buying them from the shop -- to get record items in "Nintendogs."

     Select the "Go Out" button on the home screen and then select the "Walk" button.

     Select the dog you wish to walk, then draw the desired route onto your DS screen with the DS stylus. Make sure your route passes over a blue "?" box.

     Go on the walk. When you reach the blue "?" mark your dog will either bring you a present or interact with another dog.

     Continue walking over blue "?" marks until your dog retrieves a record for you.
