How to Get the Horse Pinata on Viva Pinata DS

"Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise" is available for the hand-held Nintendo DS system. This strategy game tasks you with meeting specific feeding and breeding requirements to collect a full catalog of pinatas. Horstachio is the only horse pinata in the game, and you need to reach gardening level six before you can attempt to get it.

Instructions

- 1
  Purchase a Ponocky from Gretchen Fetchem's for 2,100 chocolate coins after you have reached gardening level six.

  Place the Ponocky anywhere in the garden. Cover the garden with at least 500 pinometers of grass, or 50 percent of the garden's surface.

  Purchase at least one apple tree from Costalot's general store for 280 chocolate coins. Place it in the garden and wait for it to drop fresh apples on the ground. Leave the fresh apples out in the garden to attract Horstachio. Dispose of any apples immediately if they start to turn rotten by tapping them with the shovel.

  Feed a visiting Horstachio at least eight fresh apples to meet its residency requirements.

  Feed a Horstachio a chili seed to obtain the red variant of this pinata.
