How to Get a Charmander From the Girl in the Sand Gem Town in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" is part of the fourth generation of Pokemon games, which introduces enhanced combat and Internet capabilities to the mix of game-play features. Though Charmander was easier to locate in games taking place in the Kanto region, the Shinnoh region that takes center stage in "Pearl" keeps them in short supply. Luckily, a young girl in Sandgem Town early in the game offers a Charmander as a reward for visiting her.

     Travel north from Twinleaf Town to reach Route 201.

     Take the eastern path of the route a short distance until you reach Sandgem Town. Hold the "B" button to sprint and make the journey pass faster.

     Locate the house on the right side of the town below the Professors Lab and enter it.

   • 4

     Speak with the girl inside and receive a Charmander for your efforts.
