Where to Get a Fire Stone in Pokemon Soul Silver

Pokemon "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver" are Nintendo DS remakes of the Game Boy Color games, "Pokemon Gold" and "Silver." In the DS series of Pokemon games, certain types of items, called "hold" items, are responsible for various induced effects on Pokemon. These items allow players to have the chance to make choices about what bonuses their Pokemon will have. The Fire Stone hold item induces evolution in certain Fire-type Pokemon.

Route 36
- Go to Route 36, outside of the Ruins of Alph. Fight and defeat the trainer, Alan. He will give you his number to add to your Poketch. On Wednesdays, when he calls you, he will challenge you to a fight. If you fight him and win, he'll give you a Fire Stone randomly.
Bug Catching Contest
- Go to the National Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to enter the Bug Catching Contest. If you win the contest by catching the best Pokemon, which you battle with a Pokemon of your choice and capture with a Competition Ball. The Fire Stone is the prize for
Route 25
- Head to Route 25 and enter Bill's Grandfather's house. Make sure you have a Pikachu or Vulpix in your party, then offer to show them to him. He'll give you a Fire Stone as a gift.
Pokethlon Prize
- Go to the Pokethlon Dome on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and go to the Pokethlon Gift Counter, after accumulating Pokethlon points by battling in the arena. The Fire Stone costs 3,000 Pokethlon Points.
