How to Get Into the Purple Doors in Pokemon Soul Silver: Ruins of Alph

Once you complete any or all of the slide puzzles in the Ruins of Alph, you will be able to obtain items and learn about or catch the 26 Unown. At the Ruins of Alph in "Pokemon Soul Silver," you will come across two closed chambers. Both chambers will have doors with intricate purple designs. Your character cannot access these empty chambers unless you use an Action Replay device to activate the "Walk Through Walls" cheat.

  Make sure "Pokemon Soul Silver" is inside the "Pass Through" port of your Action Replay device. Power on your Nintendo DS the Action Replay is in the top slot. Watch the introduction or press any button to skip to the main menu of Action Replay.

  Select the "Add" option on the "Code Select" screen. Designate "Walk Through Walls" as the name of the new cheat. Enter the code for the "Walk Through Walls" cheat:

  Return to the "Code Select" screen. Look for "Walk Through Walls" in the list. Select the new cheat code to activate it. If you want, activate other cheat codes like "Wild Pokemon Are Shiny." Once you've enabled every cheat code you want, press the "Start" button.

  Select "Continue" on the main menu of "Pokemon Soul Silver." Fly to Violet City, Johto. Head southeast of the city to reach the Ruins of Alph. Walk up to one of the two sealed chambers. One chamber is located in the northern part of the Ruins of Alph, and the other chamber is located in the southern part.

  Press the "L" button and use the D-pad to walk through the door. Your character will find himself in an empty chamber. Avoid saving your game in this normally unreachable area to prevent glitches.
