How to Get the Pokesav Into the Game

Pokesav is a computer program that allows you to customize nearly every aspect of your "Pokemon" game. When using Pokesav, you can achieve otherwise impossible move combinations, such as a Bulbasaur that knows Flamethrower. You can also customize the appearance and level of a Pokemon, such as creating a level 100 Shiny Pikachu. When you finish your customization, the Pokesav program generates an Action Replay code that you transfer into the "Pokemon" game.

  Open the Pokesav program on your computer and edit the desired game features. For example, if you want to add additional Pokemon to your team, click the "Edit" button under "Party Team." Select the desired Pokemon, items, badges or moves you want, then click "Okay."

  Enter your trainer ID into the "ID" box. Find this five-digit number by pausing your game and selecting "Trainer Card" from the main menu.

  Click the "Generate AR DS Code" button in the upper left corner of the Pokesav program. Select "Save File to Desktop" when prompted.

  Plug your Action Replay DSi into the Nintendo DS. Plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer. The Action Replay code manager will automatically appear on your computer.

  Drag the Pokesav file from your desktop into the "Pokemon" folder on the left side of the Action Replay menu. Select "Yes" when prompted.

  Disconnect the Action Replay from your computer. Plug your "Pokemon" game into the top of the Action Replay. Turn on the Nintendo DS, then press the "Star" button. Select the Pokesav file when prompted.

  Select "Start Game with Codes." Wait for the game file to load completely, then press "L" and "R" simultaneously to activate the code. Items and badges will appear in your backpack, while Pokemon will appear in your PC box at the Pokemon Center.
