How to Get the Lost Loot in Explorers of Darkness

The Lost Loot is an item in the 2008 Nintendo DS role-playing game "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness." While this item has no real use within the game, players can sell it and get 4000 "Poke" (the currency used in the game). Getting the Lost Loot is accomplished mostly by luck, as players may receive it randomly as a mission reward or find it in dungeons. The only guaranteed way to get the Lost Loot is by entering the "Wonder Mail" codes into the game.

Instructions

Getting the Lost Loot Through a Random Quest

  Play the game until you are offered quests in which the reward is the Lost Loot item.

  Go up the steps in the middle of town to reach the guild. You will find these quests on the bulletin board inside the guild.

  Complete the quest and you will receive the Lost Loot as a reward. Since the quests are random, there is no telling when you may receive one.
Getting the Lost Loot Using Cheat Codes

  Navigate to the Upokecenter website (see Resources) and select "Lost Loot" from the drop-down menu under "Item Reward."

  Fill in the other options like "Mission Type" and "Client" to your liking. Set the "Dungeon" as "Beach Cave" and the floor as "1" to make things easier. Click "Generate Wonder Mail" once you are happy with your settings.

  Restart your DS game and select "Wonder Mail" from the main menu. If the option is not shown, you have to first progress further in the game. Select "Receive Mail" and then "Password."

  Enter the code generated by the website when the game prompts you to enter the password. You will now have a mission that has the Lost Loot as the reward for completion. Finish the mission and you will receive the Lost Loot.
