How to Catch a Reshiram

The Pokemon Reshiram appears on the box art of Pokemon Black. You can catch this winged Pokemon in Pokemon Black only. He appears at N's Castle and Dragonspiral Castle. He is a dragon and fire-type Pokemon without the typical water vulnerability that all other fire-types have. He cannot evolve and is not evolved from another type of Pokemon.

  • Ground, water or dragon-type Pokemon

Instructions

    • 1

      Go to level 5F in N's Castle. You reach N's Castle at the end of the Pokemon Black game. Reshiram will immediately confront you from your Dark Stone.

      Utilize your Pokemon's water, fire or ground attacks to decrease Reshiram's health. The False Swipe attach is also effective at bringing the Reshiram in to capture range.

    • 3

      Wait until Reshiram's health displays as yellow or orange. Use your Ultra Ball to capture this Pokemon.
