Things You'll Need
Instructions
Attach "Pokemon Emerald" to Slot-2 of the Nintendo DS. Place "Pokemon Pearl" into Slot-1 and switch the power on. Load up "Pokemon Pearl" and resume your game. The cartridge will recognize the Game Boy Advance game in Slot-2 as an associated dongle, which will allow some creatures from "Pokemon Emerald" to appear within the game.
Fly to Eterna City and take the southern exit to Cycling Road. Head straight down and you will come out onto Route 206. You will need to cut the trees to the right and head northward to access the tall grass here where Gligar can be found. The Pokemon can also be located in the tall grass on Route 214, 215, 227 and Stark Mountain as long as "Pokemon Emerald" is attached.
Walk around the tall grass and you will encounter wild Pokemon. There are a number of common Pokemon that are likely to appear in the tall grass, such as Zubat and Geodude so it may take some time before you come across a Gligar, but persevere and eventually one will appear.
Battle the wild Gligar with a similarly matched Pokemon. The wild Pokemon around Route 206 are between level 16 and 20, so use a Pokemon around this level. Alternatively, use a Pokemon that knows the move False Swipe. This will weaken a Pokemon, but will always leave it with enough health to stay in battle.
Use the touch screen to throw a PokeBall at the weakened Gligar. With its health reduced, it will be easy to catch. Gligar will now join your party, or if your party is full, you will be able to find it in Bebe's Box in any PC.
