Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert the Game Boy Advance game into Slot 2 of the Nintendo DS. Switch the power on and select "Start GBA game" on the main menu. Choose "New Game" and play through the introduction until Professor Birch offers you a choice of Pokemon.
Click on the fire-type, Torchic. You will have to save the Professor from a wild Pokemon and then he'll let you keep the Pokemon. Continue the game until you have caught a minimum of six other Pokemon. Save the game and switch off the console.
Load up "Pokemon Pearl" but keep the Game Boy Advance cartridge in Slot 2. The cartridge acts as a dongle, which interacts with "Pokemon Pearl," allowing access to Pal Park.
Select "Migrate From..." on the main menu. You will be asked if you wish to continue, along with a warning that Pokemon cannot be returned to the Game Boy Advance game. Select "Yes" on the touch screen to continue.
Highlight the Torchic along with five other Pokemon (you must migrate six at a time). Press "Yes" again. You will return to the main menu screen. Continue the main game on "Pokemon Pearl" and make your way to Pal Park, to the south of Sandgem Town.
Enter the building and speak to the man at the counter. He will explain how to use the Pal Park and enter you into a "Catching Competition." When he has finished talking you will enter the park itself.
Walk around the tall grass and eventually the battle screen will appear. The Pokemon that appears will be one of the migrated Pokemon. Keep walking through the grass until Torchic appears.
Use the touch screen to throw a Park Ball at Torchic. The ball acts in the same way as a Master Ball does, so catching Torchic will be easy.
Save the game upon leaving Pal Park. Torchic will now be found in Bebe's Box in any PC.
