Where to Find the TM Energy Ball in Pokemon SoulSilver

A TM, or Technical Machine, is essentially a special item that you can use to teach a single Pokemon of your choosing a new special move. The TM "Energy Ball" is a grass-type move that not only does upwards of 80 damage, but also has a 10 percent chance of reducing the enemy Pokemon's special defense by one level.

Where to Get It
- The "Energy Ball" TM can only be acquired from the shop in Battle Tower, a Battle Frontier location.
How to Get It
- You must earn 64 "Battle Points" (BP) in the Battle Tower location in order to buy the Energy Ball TM.
How to Get There
- The Battle Tower is part of the "Battle Frontier" quest that only unlocks once you have finished the game. Defeat the Elite Four to unlock the Battle Frontier battles. The Battle Tower is the first Battle Frontier location and is situated to the north of Route 40.
What to Do There
- Fight through the Battle Tower Pokemon battles to earn Battle Points. You must defeat seven trainers in a row to earn BP, with the amount of BP increasing every time you defeat seven more opponents without losing a match.
