How to Get a Charizard With Wonder Guard

Wonder Guard is an ability that allows only super-effective attacks to hit your Pokemon. It renders your Pokemon impervious to other attacks. Although Shedinja is the only Pokemon that can naturally possess the Wonder Guard ability, you can give it to Charizard in "Pokemon Diamond" or "Pearl" by using an Action Replay cheat. The only downside to doing this is that your Charizard will be ineligible for use in any official Pokemon tournament. When your Charizard has Wonder Guard, only Water-, Rock- and Electric-type attacks will damage it.

Instructions

  Connect your "Pokemon" game cartridge to the Action Replay. Push the Action Replay into the cartridge slot of the Nintendo DS until it clicks into place.

  Turn the Nintendo DS system on and touch the Action Replay icon to load it. At the codes screen, input the following code:

  Press "Start." Load your Pokemon save file and begin playing.

  Deposit at least one Pokemon into the PC of any Pokemon Center. You need to have at least one empty slot in your party for the code to work.

  Hold both shoulder buttons to activate the code. The Charizard with Wonder Guard will automatically be placed into your party.
