How to Get Rotom in Pokemon Diamond

There is only one place to find the impish Rotom in "Pokemon Diamond." Rotom is an Electric- and Ghost-type Pokemon that can take over the motor of electrical devices. When a Rotom enters an appliance, it takes on the appearance and characteristics of the item, such as a washing machine or refrigerator. Having a Pokemon on your team that can quickly change into a Water-, Fire-, Grass-, Flying- or Ice-type creature opens the door to many interesting strategies.

Instructions

  Navigate Eterna Forest to find the Old Chateau on the forest's northern end.

  Save the game and wait until nightfall. Rotom will appear only after the sun goes down at 7 p.m.

  Climb the stairs inside Old Chateau and enter the second door on the left. Walk up to the television set and press the "A" button to make Rotom materialize from the screen.

  Lower Rotom's health by attacking it and capture the Plasma Pokemon in a Pokeball. Be careful when you battle Rotom, since it is only at Level 15 and there is only one Rotom per save file in "Pokemon Diamond."
