How to Get Regi Rock Ice Still on Pearl

The Regirock Steel-, Ice-, Steel-type Pokemon does not naturally occur in the "Pokemon Diamond" or "Pearl" versions. It is still possible, however, to capture the Regirock Pokemon if you have caught it in the earlier "Emerald," Ruby" or "Sapphire" generation of games. You must transfer the Regirock -- along with all your other Pokemon from that game -- into "Pokemon Pearl" using the Migrate command.

Instructions

    • 1

Beat "Pokemon Pearl" in a regular playthrough. Make sure that you see all the Sinnoh Pokemon in your playthrough, and that you defeat the Elite Four.

    • 2

Insert the "Pokemon Ruby," "Sapphire," or "Emerald" game cartridge into the GBA Cartridge slot on your DS system, then restart "Pokemon Pearl."

    • 3

Select the "Migrate From" option on the main game screen.

    • 4

Select six Pokemon -- including Regirock -- to migrate into "Pokemon Pearl." Be warned, you will lose these six Pokemon forever in your original "Emerald," "Sapphire" or "Ruby" game.

    • 5

Continue your "Pokemon Pearl" game once you have migrated your Pokemon over.

    • 6

Travel to the Pokemon Pal Park. You can now catch the six Pokemon you migrated over in the park. Walk through the park until you enter a battle with the Regirock. Catch the Regirock as you would a normal Pokemon.
