How to Get the Regi in Pearl

The Regi Pokemon consist of the Hoenn Legendary trio, Regirock, Regice and Registeel, all of which were introduced in Generation III Pokemon video games, and Regigigas, who was introduced in Generation IV and is the master of this trio. None of the Hoenn Legendary trio can be caught in the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon Pearl," but all four Pokemon, including Regigigas, can be traded to the game at any time. If you manage to obtain all three Legendaries in "Pearl," you can get Regigigas without having to trade for it.

Travel to Mount Coronet, and a secret cave known as the Iceberg Ruins will unlock just before the exit to Route 216. Fight the Regice inside this cave to capture it.

    • 3

Go to Iron Island, and the Iron Ruins secret cave will unlock near the final room of the island's cave. Registeel lives in the ruins, where you can battle and capture it.

    Option 2

    • 6

Play your "Pokemon Ruby," "Sapphire" or "Emerald" game and go to Route 105. Enter the Island Cave in the northwestern part of this route to battle and capture Regice. In order to traverse this water route and reach the cave, you must take a Pokemon that can surf with you..

Head to Route 111. Look for the Desert Ruins, a cave located in the southernmost part of the desert. Enter it to fight and capture Regirock.

Three of these should be the Regi trio.

Take the Hoenn Legendary trio to the Snowpoint Temple located at the northern side of Snowpoint City. Also bring Pokemon that know Rock Smash and Strength if your trio has not learned them. Travel through the temple until you reach the fifth and lowest floor. Your three Legendaries will cause the Pokemon statue there to awaken as Regigigas, and you can then fight and capture it.
