How to Get a Vaporeon in HeartGold

Eevee is a creature in the Pokemon games with a variety of possible evolutions brought on by the use of element stones or by happiness at certain times of the day. One of these evolutions is a water-based monster called Vaporeon. In "Pokemon HeartGold," find an Eevee and use a Water Stone to get Vaporeon.

Instructions

  Go to the Pokemon Center in Ecruteak City. There will be a man named Bill talking to the nurse. Speak to him. Doing this will prompt him to return to his home in Goldenrod City.

  Travel to Goldenrod City and visit the Pokemon Center. Make sure you have one party slot open by depositing a Pokemon into the box storage system on the computer there.

  Find Bill's house and enter. Speak to him and he will offer you the Eevee he used to test a new system that he installed. Accept his offer and take the Pokemon.

  Open your bag and find a Water Stone. If you don't have one, you can receive a Water Stone as a gift from another trainer or by winning at least 2500 points at the Pokeathlon Dome on a Wednesday in the game (Monday, Tuesday or Friday if you already have the National Dex). Use the Water Stone and select Eevee. This will cause it to evolve into a Vaporeon.
